A recent example of our work:
The department was having a major problem with inventory reconciliations due to the number of source documents and systems involved in the complex reconciliation process. It was a very manual process to complete the amount of research required for each discrepancy, requiring a significant amount of staff time. In order to ensure that the books were closed on time, invoices less than $1M were ignored, resulting in $150,000-$250,000 of write-offs quarterly.
